I thought I would post my WIP for Gene's house. Build from a concept by Zachary Stark. The concept was used as a rough layout while still exploring what could be done with the scene.
I modeled the building (except lower staircases) and ground. I fully textured the scene. Trees were generated through proxy and I painted the snow on them. Lite the scene and final render in Vray.
Objective: The client wanted several stills for brochures.
Created with 3DS Max, Photoshop, Vray I lit the entire scene and built room structure/cabinets/furniture. The appliances/dishware were purchased by Norris Design but all textures were created by myself. The final render was with Vray.
I lit the enter scene, textured and build all objects excluding the flowers and trees. Rendered in layers and composited in Photoshop. I was to complete model 15 homes out of 40. Plus assist in the rest with lighting, texturing and compositing. Produced for Norris Design.
I lit the entire scene. Furniture was purchased by Norris Design but I created all textures and tweaked most models for style.
The final render : Vray & ambient occlusion
The client wanted several images to display the community lodge. Something very warm and inviting. The largest challenge was the lighting in this space and trying to keep the balance of brightly lit and blown out.
Created with Maya, Photoshop, After Effects
I lit the entire scene, added fog, modeled background with exception of a few coral. Which are paint effects. Scene was built in several layers and composited in After Effects.
